Barq's is different from other root beer in that it contains caffeine. 

That bite is the Barqs has caffeine in it where most other root beers don’t.

Barqs is the best root beer. Terrible in Root beer floats though which is so strange. Barqs has bite was the slogan  I imagine that's why you used the word bite and not something else as a descriptor!!

An old slogan for Barqs was "Barqs has bite". That's why it's the superior root beer! It's got that bite at the end.
