in fourth grade we read "The Boxcar Children " series and every Friday we had an activity that somehow correlated with whichever book(s) we finished that week. One of the activities was a picnic with food mentioned and I remember very thinly sliced sweet potatoes with Molly McButter sprinkled on it..... it was so weird but good at the same time. Also, totally nowhere in the book, lol.

My mom loves to tell the story of my first birthday where my parents tried to make me a smash cake - when they stuck my hands in it (because I wouldn't do it myself) I cried and panicked until someone cleaned my hands off again. So I am with Link on that one100%,  not a sensation I would enjoy.
