I would LOVE to see yβall do a weather vlog with Reed Timmer ππΌπππΌ Reed and Link would feed off each other and it would be absolute chaos lol
I think what Link was trying to say at the beginning is, "Where the rubber meets the road"
Link is too adorable in this. It's hard to pin down every reason why but his natural mannerisms and ways of speaking always bring a smile to my face.
Why am I talking to them like they can hear me lolll
That's just the natural effect they have on us beasts. They're great guys that you just want to hang out with.
It cracks me up how Rhett and Link both call Dachsunds Datsuns π And having moved from the Southeast to the PNW, I really miss thunderstorms too!
"Y'all should storm chase." The thought that immediately popped into my head was them storming into Chase's office. π I forgot, for a second, that storm chasing is a thing people do.
Hold up. it's pronounced "Dod-sun" and not "dash-hound"? why have I heard "dash-hound" my whole life????
I knew my Mama was telling the truth when she always told me to not shower or bathe during a thunderstorm.
The guys sound like me driving around The Woodlands yesterday... but I was alone! Haha
Dachshunds are so cute. ^_^ Thank you Rhett and Link for inspiring me to go on Instagram and look at some cute doggos π π
watching link discover the internet just a little better made my day. Thanks for these awesome moments we get to share with you all.
I've had a sad day but Link sharing dog pics made it 100x better π₯°
Also the lightning think I think you can feel the electricity increase around you plus your hair stands up π interesting about not lying down though π
I appreciated the knowledge drop here! I definitely would have layed flat on the ground to avoid a strike π¬, potentially another life saved by Rhett and Link π. So I tuck into a ball and do little jumps. Cue music:
*The more you know π
Love you guys!!!
Are analogies for driving still relevant if you are in a self driving car? :)
I love when we get to watch them discover new things. Welcome to the wonder of the Explore page, Link.
wow didn't know about lightning going through the plumbing system! Useful to know π
I read an article, not too long ago, about someone's toilet exploding due to lightning striking their house. Crazy!!
I used to live in Florida with all the crazy storms and definitely missed that when we moved to Ohio. The storms just don't last long enough and aren't nearly as intense. As long as a tornado doesn't come, I love it. I legit cheer when I see cool lightning strikes and may drive longer just to see more. Then I try to select music that works with the storm, usually rock. So I'm with Link on this one lol.
you must not live in the Cleveland area cause that lake effect snow will entertain you plenty.
I donβt think storm chasing would be such great idea as it could be quite dangerous if your not careful enough lol
Guys, light generates potentially deadly electrical currents along the ground in all directions. So when you lay down, you're inviting more potential points on your body to hit.
This has been lightening talk with Rhett & Link
"Sometimes I sit and try to think." Gotta love Link
Rhettβs Jesus game was on point in this vlog. With the sun illuminating him, he was looking downright angelic.
I love how Rhett just blurted out that's a myth!! Then took the fact that only MOST cars are safe if hit by lightning as a win! π π€£
At first I thought she meant storm Chase and I was like...how would ya go about doing that? Like, sneak up on him and rush him/surprise him? Tackle him to the ground and give him a noogie??
Storm chasing is INTENSE, man. But the ppl who do it love it bc the thrill is incredible. There's a video of some storm chasers who were filming literally right in front of my house in Oklahoma where an F3 tornado came through and nearly got my house. It's a cool video and really kinda chilling. I'll @ ya.
I appreciated all the dachshund stuff. I have a dachshund and 5 other doxie mixes (they're all related & were rescues). I LOVE them. π₯°
Thanks, guys! Semper Mythicon! ππ»π€
so glad I wasn't the only one who thought about Chase the person!
Do you mispronounce it "Dotson" like Link does? πΉ
I sometimes say DOCKsund just bc I feel weird saying DOCK-shoond. π I can definitely say it correctly but it's weird to be talking all naturally southern and instantly go into German for ONE freakin word. π€£
haha it's like when people order a croissant and insist on pronoucing it with a French accent.
EXACTLY! I had the very same thought, actually! π cwah-SAWN... π€£
haha i thought the same thing !!
Link's tattoo is looking good!
I love how one question about storm chasing lead to a meandering conversation.... it is so similar to how my friends and I talk and discuss things.
First one to comment. I enjoy the carpool vlogs. Very chill and relaxing.
