Time to take stuff from the nightmare fridge. I am sure you can add a little something something.

If they locked it on you, make them a McLaughlin and Neal family traditional meal

Tristan Therien on November 2, 2021 at 10:30 am

some cooked turkey with mashed potatoes and pees

Heather Kreager on November 2, 2021 at 6:55 am

Give thanks to all the first responders. For most they will not have holiday dinners with there families.

Colin Purcell on November 2, 2021 at 5:53 am

Really really simple - Baked Sweet Potatoes
Preheat over to 425 F
Wash Sweet Potatoes
Pierce with a fork two to three times
Place in oven for about 45-50 minutes
They are done when you stick a fork in and it comes out easily
Serve with just butter, sour cream
Simple and easy

Katharine Kerr on October 28, 2021 at 5:29 pm

Deep fried turkey Wellington
White Castle stuffing (seriously it’s a thing)
Fancy mashed potatoes like from the KFC fancy food famous bowl
Rhett has to cook green beans and admit they are delicious
For dessert: leave them various ingredients and see what kind of pie they can come up with and cook.

Rapha Conrad on October 28, 2021 at 5:39 am

Just saying...they should make crepes

PETER ROYE on October 27, 2021 at 7:13 pm

Should do a baked stuffed pumpkin. It's so good. Whole pumpkin, cream of mushroom soup, water chestnuts, and ground beef with spices

Claudia Allen on October 24, 2021 at 4:29 pm

A perfect marriage of two of Link's favorite things...Peanut Butter Raisin Bran Crunch cookies! The recipie does exist!

Lori Davidson on October 23, 2021 at 4:34 pm

Western Pennsylvania fav is pretzel “salad” for dessert. Pretzel crust, jello, sliced strawberries and cool whip mixed together. Pour over crust then chill.

PETER ROYE on October 27, 2021 at 7:08 pm

Very good idea!

Amber Dayton on October 23, 2021 at 3:08 pm

Leek and Potato soup. It's become a Thanksgiving tradition at our home. Sooo good!

Sarah Anderson on October 23, 2021 at 2:17 pm

Taste test of spicy birds "is this sweet birdie spicy or is it down right dicey" (turkey, chicken, duck, turducken, pheasant, pigeon, osterich, etc.) Using all different kinds of hot spices (Cajun, five spice, hot sauce, etc.)

Savanah Mauney on October 23, 2021 at 12:22 pm

Mac and cheese!!

Steve Baker on October 23, 2021 at 8:20 am

They should do White Castle stuffing. Sounds weird but it's amazing! We make it every year.

Kim Davidson on October 23, 2021 at 2:16 am

Peanut butter bacon burger 🍔👀

Sofia Chiellini on October 23, 2021 at 12:25 am

Beetroot smoked salmon 🤤

Kimberly M Roy on October 22, 2021 at 7:29 pm

Banana Cream Pie and Bacon Fried PB and Banana Sandwich!

Amanda Dodson on October 22, 2021 at 11:43 pm

They should make banana croquettes (bananas, miracle whip, nuts)!! I feel like no one has ever heard of them but they are my Thanksgiving fav! They sound gross but they are good 😜

Thea Michailides on October 22, 2021 at 5:29 pm

Standing Rob roast with crispy new potatoes, asparagus with hollandaise, and the ultimate old person dessert, bourbon poached pears

Erika K Jones on October 22, 2021 at 3:10 pm

Go fancy! Bacon wrapped scallops, Beef Wellington and Tiramisu for dessert!

Joy Steinmiller on October 22, 2021 at 2:47 pm

Something from before Josh and Mythical Kitchen crew. Maybe an old Will it? that didn't "will" they could try to make it better.

Abby Friedman on October 22, 2021 at 2:40 pm

Better idea than turkducken - do a throwback to the 60's and attempt one of those weird-ass Jello molds that were all the rage back then! Nothing screams holidays like some lime jello with vienna sasauges, pineapple, celery and mayonaisse! LOL

Abby Friedman on October 22, 2021 at 2:36 pm

I wanna see them attempt the Turkducken. Or even better, a Piecaken ♥

Shaun Brady on October 21, 2021 at 8:12 pm

Candied yams with marshmellows on top.

Marjorie Danis Bordeleau on October 22, 2021 at 1:59 am

la tourtiere du lac st-Jean ! a classic quebec dish

Marie Apodaca on October 21, 2021 at 3:33 pm

A great stuffing or dressing recipe is absolutely to die for.

Erin Clugh on October 21, 2021 at 5:18 pm

Pumpkin pie! A definite must for the holidays. It's easy and one of my favorites make. I'm talkin homemade crust and everything!

Courtney Grossl on October 21, 2021 at 1:24 pm

Good old fashioned Southern Cornbread Dressing baked in an iron skillet

Ashley Wyckoff on October 20, 2021 at 3:03 pm

Cranberry Fluff Salad
2 cups raw cranberries ground
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 nuts, chopped
3 cups mini marshmallows
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Combine all ingredients and enjoy!

jacquelin Davis on October 20, 2021 at 2:40 pm

Anyone want to make side bets on who will do most of the cooking? Rhett cooks all the time and brags about it. Link just learned how to scramble eggs. But he does pour a mean bowl of millk.

Krysti on October 20, 2021 at 9:06 pm

cranberry sauce so easy Link can do it and he would be so proud when it comes out 😋

Skyler Johnston on October 20, 2021 at 8:40 pm

Frickles made with homemade pickles have always been a staple in my family's thanksgiving

jacquelin Davis on October 20, 2021 at 2:39 pm

what's a frikle?

Skyler Johnston on October 20, 2021 at 9:45 pm

Deep fried pickle, its best when you make your own pickles because they end up crispier and you can flavor them how you want

Rachel Black on October 21, 2021 at 1:05 am

Deep fried pickle...a dickle? 😄

Kirsty J on October 20, 2021 at 1:39 pm

A turducken would be great but maybe with a mythical twist… so a Pituduchiquba (pig,Turkey, duck, chicken, quail all wrapped in bacon)
Or a dessert turducken but with pumpkin pie inside cherry pie inside apple pie inside brownies or cake. A pumpchapie if you will.

Steve Baker on October 23, 2021 at 8:23 am

Or a piecaken.

Kirsty J on October 23, 2021 at 8:24 am

Yes!

Christina Price on October 20, 2021 at 1:23 pm

Deviled eggs, but one of every three or so has a secret, "devilish" ingredient. ;)

Christina Briden on October 20, 2021 at 2:43 pm

bake a pumpkin pie!!

Kathy Decker on October 20, 2021 at 4:05 am

My dad one night invented a yogurt pie. He told me I had to make it and he'd call it mine(when HE was the inventer!). Any way to make it, you either make or buy a Graham cracker crust. Get 4-5 small containers or one large container of your favorite fruit yogurt, chopped nuts (any kind), raisens, banana and shredded coconut (sweetened or unsweeted your choice). In a bowl mix your yogurt, nuts, raisens and coconut. After mixing, put the mixture in the Graham crust. Top it with sliced banana. More raisens, nuts and coconut are optional

Can't to see! Setting my calandar now!!! 🥳

*edit * this is a messy pie. We can't figure out how to harden it... But, it's very good!

I would pay for their plane tickets to have them cook with me.

I am super excited about this

Elijah Morgan on October 20, 2021 at 5:41 am

Maybe they could try sweet potato casserole? I've been looking for a good new recipe and there's so many to choose from, I would love to know know what kind rhett and link suggest :)

amy Petrica on October 20, 2021 at 4:34 am

Link says his dad makes killer barbecue sauce. Link could make his dad's sauce and Rhett could make ribs.

Aaron Ettestad on October 19, 2021 at 9:16 pm

Definitely got make some sort of pie. Maybe Pecan or Sweet potato...or both in one

Jessica Mueller on October 19, 2021 at 8:29 pm

I mean... Rhett once rapped that he wrote the recipe for Green Bean Casserole. But that was before he decided green beans were a mockery of his favorite food. 🤭
Anyway, make some beans!

When Link was last on MK, he did quite a nice job with the bread! I'd love to see him try something doughy again! Maybe some rolls or a pie! 🥧

Rachel Black on October 19, 2021 at 8:18 pm

How about roast lamb, with minted peas?

Evie Ray on October 19, 2021 at 7:50 pm

Maybe make a ham? Or a Pumpkin Pie?

Adam Temple on October 19, 2021 at 7:42 pm

This sounds like so much fun! I can't wait for this livestream. Although, I do feel bad for the Mythical Kitcheneers. I can only imagine what they'll have to eat. 🤢

Janiell Taylor on October 19, 2021 at 7:23 pm

potato salad
candy yams
cranberry sauce
honey glaze ham
cherry crumble pie

Kaesh Johnson on October 19, 2021 at 7:22 pm

In our family we have a tradition called “uncle Mark salad”(named after my uncle mark who loves it so much). It’s NOT a desert, it’s a side ☺️ 1:1 cream cheese and vanilla pudding. Beat the cream cheese, SLOWLY add the milk, but only do 2/3 of the pudding package directions. Then add the vanilla pudding. Once it gets thick, add mini marshmallows and canned mandarin oranges. Decorate the top with more marshmallows and mandarin slices. Sometimes I do a turkey, sometimes I do a palm tree, one year my daughter even requested an elephant. It’s so good!

Heather Pellegrini on October 20, 2021 at 2:14 am

This sounds really awesome, I can’t wait! 😁

Tabitha Wagner on October 19, 2021 at 5:46 pm

Just make anything that includes all the weird things you're usually having to eat. Or just some Rocky Mountain Oysters 🤣

Megan Hiestand on October 19, 2021 at 5:43 pm

They should get each of Their Favorite Holiday Meal Recipes that They had Growing Up ..
Then have the other Person make Theirs! (Rhett makes Link’s & Link makes Rhett’s)

Erica Darnell on October 19, 2021 at 5:35 pm

My FAVORITE meal (and my hubby’s) is essentially just a “casserole” type thing made of Italian sausage, russet potatoes, bell pepper, onion, salt & pepper. You basically cut everything up into approximately 1” chunks, combine it in a baking dish (any kind), cover with aluminum foil & bake at 375° until the taters are cooked through. Remove the cover during the last 15-30 minutes or so. I’ve found 1 package of Italian sausages (Johnsonville or something) to about 3 large potatoes, 1 onion, and 1 bell pepper is sufficient. I cut each sausage into about 8 bites. This meal is divine, y’all. Everyone I’ve ever made it for has raved over it. Ofc, I make mine with vegan Italian sausages but it’s just as lit. Oh, the only problem is it takes about an hour and a half to bake, sometimes longer if it’s a real big batch. You can also make this in an instant pot or a slow cooker, too.

Spencer Higgins on October 19, 2021 at 5:33 pm

I’d love to see them make the Thanksgiving Day Burger. It has Turkey, stuffing, mayo, and roast butternut squash. All this is then topped with housemade orange-cranberry sauce. Y’all would love it!

Donna Barck on October 19, 2021 at 5:33 pm

They should do a turducken 😁

Emma Hill on October 19, 2021 at 5:33 pm

candied yams my favourite holiday dish

Riley Black on October 19, 2021 at 5:32 pm

They gotta try a turducken or a Wellington right??

Mary Musgrove on October 20, 2021 at 12:31 am

They should do a Turkey deep fry like the southern boys they are lol. But is it safe for Link to be around hot oil 🤣

Lisa Barone on October 19, 2021 at 5:29 pm

Oooh this is going to be so entertaining!
