More Behind the Mythicality

Meghan Grannas on November 19, 2022 at 9:14 pm

This looked like it was so much fun! Thank you for documenting this whole experience. I hope there's a Mythicon 2023, 2024, and for many years to come!

Vrinda on November 18, 2022 at 11:37 am

I watched the livestream from India and couldn't stop smiling! You could feel the love and joy through the screen!! I'm so happy for everyone that got to experience mythicon in person and really hope I get to go one day too💕

Zoe Turner on November 16, 2022 at 6:04 pm

I watched from Australia, I was so emotional, in the best way, watching everyone have an amazing time together! You didn't even need to be at Mythicon to feel the love from the beasts! Loved the behind the scenes!

Branden Hartley on November 16, 2022 at 5:39 pm

Not in a bad way at all, but this was almost more entertaining than the show itself! I love these behind the scenes footage that really makes you feel like a part of the actual show! Hope i can make it in 2024

Phil Wrighthouse on November 16, 2022 at 6:55 pm

omg Jordan going "We did it Joe" as Randy was golden.

Erika Jones on November 15, 2022 at 12:59 pm

Not enough can be said about how mythical this weekend was. For me personally it was the culmination of a 12 day vacation that I desperately needed. I started out stressed, high strung and honestly unhappy about the next 12 days. by the time I left Austin I was relaxed, happy and able to truly smile again. I found joy that I didn't fully realize I had lost and mythicon was part of that. I watch all these videos and reminders with a lighter heart. this has truly helped me reset and I can find joy in little things again. thank you mythical 🥰

Matthew John Palka on November 14, 2022 at 6:29 pm

I wholeheartedly enjoyed seeing this so much. Whatta wholesome bunch of mythically. Thanks for showing so much awesome that happened.

Emily Vincent on November 14, 2022 at 4:44 pm

So sad I couldn’t attend! As a poor college kid, I’m happy I can even afford 3rd degree each month LOL. Thank you so much for posting this video!!

Pamela Warren on November 13, 2022 at 11:19 pm

next best thing to being there (which I unfortunately could not) was having the BTM to watch. thank you!! I really hope y'all attempt this again. no doubt it would be another success.

Alicia Johnson on November 13, 2022 at 1:53 pm

I'm so sad I couldn't gooo!

Sylvan on November 13, 2022 at 1:40 pm

Aw, this was wonderful to watch. I wasn't able to go to Mythicon, so it was such a delight to see the behind the scenes and little pieces of the magic that happened there. Love y'all!

Cameron Monson on November 13, 2022 at 1:21 pm

I love you guys so much <3
I can't wait until I can afford to come to MythiCon :)

Dorothy Styn on November 13, 2022 at 12:35 pm

🤞Next Mythicon in Arizona? Plenty of open empty towns to play in. :)

MythicalBeastLilAygo on November 13, 2022 at 4:24 am

this experience impacted Rhett and link and the mythical crew more than it impacted the fans. we as fans already know who you are and how awesome you are, but you never get to feel our physical support and love. so glad y'all got to feel that finally and have a full heart at the end of the day. your hard work paid off. good to see you leaving mythicon with a lifetime of memories and love

Nathan Moore on November 12, 2022 at 8:43 pm

my dad only big regret this year so far has been missing Mythicon. here's hoping I can make the next one.

Amanda Dodson on November 11, 2022 at 11:12 pm

Aw this is a wonderful peek into the weekend for those of us that were at home!! Although I'm so happy I got to watch the show from home and be a little part of it. Jessie was amazing singing!! And for a second I thought Christy was Lily with blonde hair! Jessie and Christy have found the fountain of youth I believe it. Anyway, all the Beasts looked like they were having such a nice time and the Mythical Crew are the most hard working and sweetest people to make all those Little Beasties feel so special 😊

Darko Lazeski on November 11, 2022 at 9:11 am

Guys, i love you but please add support for Chromecast or so...not all mythical beasts have Apple TV...

Mythical Society on November 14, 2022 at 9:46 am

Hello! We're currently working on casting upgrades to be able to watch on your TV! The ability to cast via Apple TV isn't available on our end. If you're able to cast via Apple TV, that would be something they provide. We'll let everyone know when our casting upgrades are available 😊

Anne R Basile on November 11, 2022 at 6:42 am

Morgan and Chase are forever the test subjects

Whitney Tolbert on November 11, 2022 at 6:20 am

is it bad I'm so sad I had a universal studios trip booked at the same time. If I hadn't of scheduled it in January, I would've 100% then I'm at mythicon.

Erica Michelle Reynolds on November 10, 2022 at 11:14 am

I am not jealous... You're jealous! Okay I'm jealous... I wish I could have been there, but between school, my disability, and money I could go. So I'm so grateful for this BTM. I really hope I can go to the next one!!! I love the family vibe!

LESLIE Stowe on November 10, 2022 at 5:22 am

My Birthday was the 26th and this was my gift. What an amazing time! This was one of the highlights of my life! When I got to meet Rhett and Link I almost passed out. My voice was horse from screaming with delight the night before and I was crying lol thank you guys for everything! Walking around and seeing your wife's.... Kids and the crew was amazing. The podcasts were incredible. I met some wonderful people and made life long friends.... The experience of being around all those other beasts was.... Breathtaking. Thank you everyone! Thank you to your ENTIRE CREW! We really got to see what it takes to give us what you give us!! Thank you thank you! Your Mythical Lady Trucker

Christina Bean on November 10, 2022 at 12:40 am

Such a great video! I wasn’t able to go so I really appreciated the hard work that went into documenting it. It seemed like such a fun time and I’m so happy for Rhett and Link and the crew!

Nathanial Elgin on November 10, 2022 at 4:33 am

best honeymoon ever!

Danielle Dickhaus on November 9, 2022 at 7:19 pm

Thank you for sharing! Sad I missed this experience but so happy to get to share some of it afterwards!!!

Alicia Lopez on November 9, 2022 at 6:57 pm

My daughter and I absolutely loved Mythicon!! I was just so sad I lost my voice the first night and could barely speak. I didn't even get my voice back until yesterday. So it was a bummer when I ran into any of the crew and couldn't talk to them. But it was a blast! Can't wait until the next time!

Montana Sadler on November 10, 2022 at 2:49 am

looks absolutely amazing!! I hope there's one next year so I can attend. 1 request, not so close to TwitchCon 🙃

Zipporah Rowe on November 9, 2022 at 7:12 pm

seeing link DJ fills me with the purest form of joy lol, it sounded great!

Alexandrea Ann Downey on November 8, 2022 at 11:43 pm

This looked incredible .. hope I can make it next time!

Diana Borasio on November 8, 2022 at 8:50 pm

I heard there were only 150 Super Mega Beast tickets. I waited up half the night to be one of the first to grab one - but the website was overloaded and I missed out! I did manage to purchase a Mega Beast ticket and because I'm short and was there by myself, I managed to squeeze into some tight spots to get up close to most of the events. I was standing next to Christy, Lily, Lando, and Shepherd during Rhett and Jessie's performance. It was so much fun!

Diana Borasio on November 8, 2022 at 8:52 pm

Oh, and Charles was with the family, too!

Corissa McCalister on November 9, 2022 at 4:26 am

This was so much fun to watch. Although I couldn't go to Mythicon, I did watch the livestream and it was amazing. I hope to save my pennies and dimes to be able to go in person some day 🧡

KJG on November 9, 2022 at 3:50 am

I love the positivity and I can't say I didn't have a good time. However, I do feel like my experience was a bit lack luster for the price we paid to attend this. The whole meet and greet being a lottery was disappointing. Super mega beast tickets were sold out when we were able to purchase. huge fan here, but feeling a bit let down to be honest.

Abigayle Cosenze on November 9, 2022 at 3:21 am

I forgot I submitted my embarrassing story to Stevie on twitter for her podcast. the crowed yelling stop fingering me has retraumatized me lol

Amariah Castillo on November 8, 2022 at 6:54 pm

I had so much fun at MythiCon! When it was first announced, I was sad because I assumed it would be in LA (as everything usually is) but I bought tickets IMMEDIATELY after I found out it was going to be in Austin (currently living in Austin). So happy I went. A ginormous thanks to the Mythical Crew for putting this on. Much love <3

(Also, thanks for putting me in the video! I forgot I had recorded that "interview" and it was so unexptected to see my face!)

Aidan Holmgren on November 9, 2022 at 2:18 am

mythicon was one of the greatest experiences in my life, and I can't wait to see what Rhett and Link do next. great job with this documentary, I think it's great that people that couldn't attend mythicon, can still get a taste of what it was like. hope if you're reading this that you're having a great day!

Madison English on November 9, 2022 at 2:15 am

links dad being concerned about the plaster walls is the funniest part

Deb Heidrich on November 9, 2022 at 1:55 am

Wow! That's all I can say! My son and I came to Mythicon. I thought I might have an idea of what to expect, but it was so much more! We met fast friends in the shuttle line the first day and spent pretty much the weekend with them! We embraced Mythicality and the concept of "Being nicer to people" as we saw throughout the entire weekend. Thank you for being the core of the positivity seen EVERYWHERE during Mythicon!!!!

Jacob Hendrickson on November 8, 2022 at 9:29 am

What is the song they and the crowd are singing at the end?? 33:40ish

Matthew Romans on November 8, 2022 at 11:12 am

nilla wafer top hat time haha and then its water dispensing tab after that

Sabrina Stone on November 8, 2022 at 4:36 pm

Please let there be another Mythicon!! I'm so bummed I had to start a new job in October so time off wasn't an option. but I'll be sure to make it to the next one

Amanda Polk on November 8, 2022 at 2:51 pm

Looks like everyone had so much fun! Thank you for sharing and so glad I got to watch the live stream. Had a wedding I had to go to that weekend or I totally would have been there 😊 next time!

Joseph Fraley on November 8, 2022 at 6:47 am

Thanks so much for documenting this, I really needed this. Losing my best friend this year was the hardest thing I ever went through, I really wanted to go but just couldn’t afford it, but I’m happy that I got to live it with the doc. Love you all

Haleema Golo on November 8, 2022 at 11:50 am

I'm so sorry for your loss, I can't imagine what you are going through.

Susan Etheridge on November 8, 2022 at 5:54 am

Thank you for this BTM! I couldn't make it, but this was such a great watch. Looks like people had a lot of fun!

Jason White on November 8, 2022 at 3:28 am

I would have loved to come, that looked amazing! Unfortunately I am dealing with health issues and it wasn't possible. I really hope I can go next time, what an experience!

Kathy Decker on November 7, 2022 at 11:05 pm

Thank you so much for putting this out there! I am starting to save my money just in case you do this again! Thank you thank you!!!

Heather Pellegrini on November 8, 2022 at 6:01 am

Thank you for sharing this! Seems like everybody had tons and tons of fun and LOTS of good vibes! 😁 I'm excited for those who got to go. I REALLY wish I could of gone but it was just so far away! 😫 But I am glad I got to watch the live stream which made it seemed like I was there in spirit 😉

Kayce Lissau on November 8, 2022 at 5:44 am

The whole weekend was unforgettable!! Oozing mythicality and good vibes. I was in the 2nd row of the James and the Shame concert and it was MOVING. I will never forget that night and the feeling it evoked. Thank you! ♥️

Kaylee Burnham on November 7, 2022 at 8:36 pm

I couldn’t get enough of mythicon! It’s be so fun reliving it with this and the podcasts coming out. I will definitely be going to future ones!!! It was worth all the hype!!

Peter Kazmir on November 7, 2022 at 8:07 pm

Mythicon was the best! Can't wait for next time!

Reed on November 7, 2022 at 7:53 pm

Avery Sheldon on November 7, 2022 at 7:21 pm

I can’t believe my fiancé and I got to be in this video AND HAD A SPOTLIGHT PART!!! Felt weird to hear myself speak 😂😂😂

Faith on November 7, 2022 at 7:19 pm

Thank you to the Crew, On Location, and Star Hill Ranch for this lifetime experience!

An #earbiscuit question I keep meaning to ask, is Link actively applying to be a competitor on Survivor?? Please say yes! And if so, please send me an audience ticket to the season finale?

Mark Stanley on November 7, 2022 at 7:16 pm

A wonderful way to re-live the experience from a different angle! I am short and was in the back for a lot, so nice to see an up-front perspective courtesy of Nick. The preparation and backstage moments are also great to see. Would go again!

Jade Avery (they/them) on November 7, 2022 at 7:11 pm

Eeee, a BTM on Mythicon! Wow the Mythical Crew and Mythical Beasts never ceases to amazing me! I wasn't able to make this year but count me in for Mythicon 2! Love yall!

Kaitlyn Hoyt on November 7, 2022 at 7:08 pm

we love u guys ! 🥹 mythicon was everything I'd hoped for and more, thank you !

Justin Gray on November 7, 2022 at 6:25 pm

The whole plan behind the drone is EXACTLY how it played out!! I was anticipating they were planning to do something like that; but when it actually happened, it still blew me away. I spotted it and told everybody around me to look up. I had no idea it was actually so tiny though. It looked huge in the sky. Such an awesome payoff perfectly executed. MYTHICON WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Wesley Weatherholtz on November 8, 2022 at 2:25 am

What an awesome experience and opportunity this was. I'll never be able to say thank you enough for making such a memorable engagement for my girlfriend and I. The logistics are probably quite challenging, but I can't wait to see what's in store if Mythicon 2023 happens!

Misty McName on November 8, 2022 at 1:57 am

This was so much fun to look back on. I will never forget this weekend. Thank you guys for all of your hard work. We met so many amazing people from all over the globe. It was Mythical indeed! Can't wait for the next one!!

Ash Alexander on November 7, 2022 at 5:48 pm

Sad I couldn't make it. But the Livestream and this BTS were awesome though 💙

If you have another one, maybe it will be a little closer to me next time x)

Mattie Snyder on November 7, 2022 at 5:43 pm

Caitrin Sparling on November 7, 2022 at 1:33 pm

“Because I’m in the podcast” okay Matt Bradley. Really though I would have loved to of been there and see everyone and all the fun shenanigans. Hopefully next year, please do it again next year … and in the Midwest!

Mary Cullen McVay on November 7, 2022 at 8:01 pm

I'm still sad that I didn't get to go, but let's hope for maybe next year or the year after that. I definitely appreciate y'all making this for the people who couldn't go and the people that could and wanted to relive those memories and see stuff that they recognized..

Sarah Anderson on November 7, 2022 at 7:57 pm

Rhett after the James & The Shame concert was epic. You saw the humility and gratitude radiating from him. Well done Rhett! Proud of you!

Katrina C LeFavour on November 7, 2022 at 11:37 am

Not me happy crying through the whole thing! 🥹 Such a special event for all mythical beasts. I unfortunately couldn't make it this year but I feel just as included with this documentary, thank you so much for all the coverage. And I will NOT be missing out next year ❤️❤️❤️

Emilia Palo on November 7, 2022 at 10:54 am

What an amazing documentary to watch as someone across the globe not being able to attend other than virtually through the livestream. It looks like absolutely fantastic time for people attending and awesome job from an awesome mythical team!

Ashley E Adams on November 7, 2022 at 10:27 am

That blue is “haint blue.” It an Appalachian superstition that it repels “haints” or bad spirits.

Mia Lee on November 8, 2022 at 6:44 pm

thank you! i came to comment the same thing.

Andrew Entwistle on November 7, 2022 at 10:22 am

One of the best experiences I've ever had! Getting to see and interact with the people that inspired me as a kid is something I never thought I'd get, I'm so grateful to have been able to go. (shoutout to my amazing partner for buying the tickets for my birthday!)

Victoria Doose on November 7, 2022 at 10:10 am

Love hearing from the crew and Rhett & Link about all the prep, excitement, and fun they had on their side of the MythiCon experience. Now I'm flashing back to all my memories! It was sweet to hear that y'all missed interacting with us and that's what inspired the concept for MythiCon. The high concentration of mythicality in one place was truly a unique experience. Grateful as always for everyone at Mythical's continuous investment and effort. 😊

Aliviadawn on November 7, 2022 at 6:07 pm

This was such a good way to feel included even if you couldn't make it. Thanks for putting this together. I cannot wait to be able to attend a mythicon! So proud of Mythical! :)

Heather (Lady Cynthiana) on November 7, 2022 at 10:05 am

I shed a real tear at the end. I'm so happy that you all got to experience so much Mythicality! I can feel it oozing through the screen as I remember my own Mythical experiences, making new friends and meeting Rhett and Link. I hope Mythicon happens again and I can attend next time! I was actually sick while it was happening and very grateful I could still watch the main performance on VOD and also very grateful to be watching the behind the scenes, so many thanks to everyone who made this possible.

Katie M Wilson on November 7, 2022 at 5:54 pm

thank you so much for sharing this! I was so sad I couldn't be there in person but I'm praying I'll get to attend the next one!

Carla Smith on November 7, 2022 at 9:19 am

To quote Link "That was a good movie. I would watch that movie again"! This was great for me since I couldn't attend this year - nice to see all the events and behind the scenes and such. Loved it!!

Tyler winstead on November 7, 2022 at 4:38 pm

Such an incredible experience! Can't wait to do it again hopefully soon. It was pretty awesome getting to meet and talk to Rhett & Link. And all of the crew. A really good group of people and look up to the creativity and aspire to be able to create and do as y'all have. love you guys. keep it up ;) <3

Ev Fields (They/He) on November 7, 2022 at 8:16 am

I'm glad you all had just as much fun as we did. You guys pulled out all the stops for this event, making it unique and overflowing with love and appreciation. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I was so surprised and honored to have had my question asked on Ear Biscuits Live and to share a bit of my story with you and the Mythical Beasts. Also, I hope my letters got to you safely, Rhett and Link. I also want you to know that Mythicon was so self-actualizing for me. It was the first time I introduced myself to people as Ev and had every person use my They/He pronouns and accept me for who I was. I have never felt safer and loved with a group of people than I did at Mythicon. You are all, indeed, my family, and I love, respect, and appreciate you all so much. Thank you for everything.

Justin Gray on November 7, 2022 at 7:11 pm

Ev, you were amazing on Ear Biscuits!! You had so much confidence and owned the stage. I couldn't stop smiling while you were talking!!

Stefan Lopuszanski on November 7, 2022 at 7:45 am

Was lots of fun and was great meeting you and the crew and chatting! =)

And fun to see the hostility around a single mic even beforehand and seeing it play out in person.

Julia Okońska on November 7, 2022 at 6:45 am

oh gosh. seeing Rhett and Link tour the ranch for the very first time, seeing their smiles and most importantly, seeing how much work the crew put into this event to make it happen - made my day!
And of course I'm gonna echo what other international beasts said - I hope you guys will consider visiting other places in the world soon! not necessarily with something as huge as mythicon of course, but just an opportunity to see you in person and thank you, would be enough!

Amanda Evans on November 7, 2022 at 6:35 am

This weekend was so much fun!! I had an amazing time!!

Dakota Terry on November 7, 2022 at 2:18 pm

Genuinely one of the best weekends of my life!! So much fun. I'll always be honored to have been a contestant at the Inaugural Baby Food Eating Contest. #DakoTaco

Meena Zahra on November 7, 2022 at 4:48 am

How about a Mythicon on each continent starting with Australia??? But thank you for sharing for those of us who couldnt be there but desperately wanted to

Kirsty J on November 7, 2022 at 4:47 am

A massive thank you for this. A lot of us International MBs couldn’t be there in person and this helps us feel more a part of what went on without detracting in any way from the unique experience of actually being there. Here’s to the next one!

Somer Flowers on November 7, 2022 at 12:29 pm

As someone who's health didn't permit them to go, this was so fun to watch! I thought of everyone all weekend, and getting to watch the livestream and seeing all the fans! Made my Mythical heart the most happy and I can't wait till I'm well enough to go to one in the future. So awesome it's now going to be a thing ❤️❤️

Bonnie Roy on November 7, 2022 at 12:27 pm

Thanks for the behind the scenes look. I just started watching YouTube during Covid and you guys popped into my feed. it was the best thing that happened.

Judy Seto on November 7, 2022 at 3:40 am

Thanks for documenting this <3 love from Sydney, Australia.
P.S. Rhett and Link please come do a show here again!
