I love this video! This made me go for film in college. I was so amazed :)
yes that video is one of my all time favorites!!
it's sad and surprising how this one wasn't a huge success, because it's one of my favorites! the song alone is super catchy & I love the lyrics; the visuals are so magical; it's this lovely combo of creepy and fairytale. i adore the steampunk toothfairy. it's such a unique video!
My (now) wife and I had just got engaged a couple months before this came out. Watching this video was one moment in a series of coincidental intersecting personal and political moments that eventually led to us throwing a steampunk-themed wedding reception at Glensheen Mansion in June 2014, almost a full year after our August 2013 wedding.
Random fact: We got married wearing canvas Mythical Shoes. We actually bought them specifically to wear to our wedding. My wife wore a cream coloured pantsuit and the cream shoes. I wore a black dress and the black shoes.
They should redo as a snippet on tik tok so folks can duet and spot the difference!
Wow!! I didn’t even know this video existed. It’s so creative and you can tell how much work went into it. The behind the scenes video is great too! Rhett and Link creativity never ceases to amaze
This is one of my favourite songs/videos!! :) I think it's so creative and I love how they all tie together.
Would we also be able to get a REACT video to Written By A Kid Goth Boy?
This still is my FAVOURITE music video Rhet and Link ever did.
I saw it for the first time almost a year after it was released, so I didn't really have the motivation to find all the differences because the contest was over. But if it was still going on, I would have definitely invested a lot of time into finding all of them! (The steampunk tooth fairy is my favourite)
This is the 1st time I've seen this video and I love it!
I absolutely adore this video and song, It is one I listen to on repeat!
And for the curious, the Answer Key video!! ⬇️

I remember when this came out! I also remember feeling exactly what Rhett said about being put off by the commitment to do the puzzle etc. Now though, I find myself being excited about the puzzle aspect. This is why I've gone back and rewatch old videos because I know I've changed to maybe the experience will change.... well and also for the flood of nostalgia!
always love your react videos. I would love to see y'all react to the hair song.."my hair goes up, my hair goes down" that's one of my favorites! It would also be cool if you redid the song now that you both have different hair now
Link said it doesn't get repeat views. I've watched it at least 15 or so times and showed my children. It's my FAVORITE R&L video ever done.
Yesssss!!! I love this video.
I have always adored this video!
I'm so glad they did this video. It's one of my favorites. So different and intricate.
I've seen this many times, and tbh i thought it was a great idea!
I thought the real question left by this video is that it looks like Rhett hits Link in the nuts when they get conked out on the right side. Did he hit Link's nuts? Did he mean to? Link sure looks happy about it. - also, yes, I have watched this several times.
The videos are still at the sleepbetter.org site.!
I remember watching this when it came out and trying to spot each difference and then realizing that there were a lot and or two many so I just mainly enjoyed the video itself instead haha
Here's the link to the behind the scenes and bloopers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_TaL4HRQHs&t=135s&ab_channel=Rhett%26Link
I was around to see it when it first came out.
We loved this songs so much it was one of the ones we covered on the record we sent you for the 2000th ep :D excited for the react!!
I remember watching this when I was released and loving the attention to detail as well as the music. I go back and rewatch it at least every few weeks.
Jessie's contribution was the icing on an already delicious cake.
*it was released. Dang autocorrect.
DUUUUDE!! Sleep Tight is one of my absolute favorite things that y'all have ever, EVER done!! 😩 I can't believe it's a decade old this year. Gosh, I love it so much!! I'm so freakin' happy right now, you don't even know. 🥹
Holy crap, there are 87 differences?? I never knew! I've never taken the time to be able to find them all. I think the steampunk tooth faeries and the Sandman scene are my favorite parts. 🥰
It's definitely got a magical childhood appeal to it and I LOVE that about it.
Aw, it makes me sad that y'all saw it as a failure at the time. I think it holds up. I just adore it. It is a personal, sentimental favorite, for sure. Thanks, y'all! Semper Mythicon! 🙏🏻🖤💋
Yes!! I LOVE this video, one of my favorite songs too! Definitely enjoyed this react to a classic!
I was literally listening to the song of this video when they posted this react here!! what are the chances? this to me is a good video even though I mainly enjoyed and still enjoy the song more than the video altogether
It's too bad this video is seen as a bit of a failure because it's one of the ones I watch the most! It's a good song, and the steampunk characters & the sandmen are very cool. And Link, come on, let us have the steampunk tooth fairy's hamstrings as a treat.
so glad they finally reacted to this 😭 absolutely loved this video when i was younger and literally played it on repeat so many times just to find all the differences :') it still gets stuck in my head now and then and go back to it; so glad to see them giggling about it bc it still holds up!
I couldn't wait for this react!
This music video is so amazing for so many different reasons! The video alone is so impressive and looking for the differences is so fun! The song is SO good and I don't really care that it "doesn't fit any genre" like you said.
And the characters you play in this video!!! To this day I keep seeing fan art and people talking about Steampunk Link and Tooth Fairy Rhett!
I love it!
About to watch! I've been looking forward to this all month!
I am definitely a repeat watcher for Spot The Differences, so I'm slowly driving that view number up! My favourite segment is the Steampunk Tooth Fairy. You both look great in your costuming for that. You talked about how you moved, to the beat and theatrical without dancing. I think it particularly suits Rhett's persona in that segment, coming across as taunting.
I really love the sweet moment in the behind the scenes for the tooth fairy segment where Link is talking to the boy about how the harness is going to work. It's so obvious how good he is with kids and how much he likes kids.
This has always been one of my absolute favorite songs of their's, so I'm stoked to see they still love it, too. <3
