I loved this episode! It brought me back to my first Kielce drawing experience. I was wondering 16 in an adult life drawing class and I'm not sure who was more nervous, myself or the mode. Rhett & Link both made great sketches - Link yours WAS great before it got taken over! Thanks for inspiring me to revisit an old practice.

Good Mythical Evening II: Rhett & Link get lap dances

Ekaterina Bezruchenko on December 4, 2021 at 5:42 am

well now we have to get them to a strip club.

Jenn Seguinot on December 4, 2021 at 7:56 pm

Omg that would be hilarious! πŸ˜† The next Good Mythical Evening should include that lmao

Rachel Black on December 3, 2021 at 8:26 pm

They both did really well! Sketching can be so relaxing, I suggest you get back into it Link :)

they really need to sketch each other in the nude, I think it would be so entertaining to hear what comments they make!

Darien Cabral on December 3, 2021 at 6:09 am

Or a self nude portrait! That would be funny too! Lol.

I enjoyed the episode today! I also thought that Rhett was drawing wings at first before he explained that they are mountains. I was glad to see the guys take it as a learning experience even if there was a bit of natural awkwardness that comes with the concept to start with. They both did very well for not practicing art regularly! It could be fun for Link to try to do more art projects with Lando as well if he really was enjoying the art aspect.

So basically it was awkward on and off camera πŸ˜‚ This was a great episode though. Link getting to display his artistic skills and his talent for cringe all at the same time. πŸ˜‰ This reminded me of all the past episodes where they draw something and compare the art (sans naked models of course) it almost felt like a throwback 😊

people made a big deal about Link being awkward but it was obvious that being in the presence of a naked woman other than their wives was a very unusual occurrence for both of them given their background and absolutely understandable

I really enjoyed the episode, so I'm glad to see the BTM, too!
In my school system, we had to choose between an industrial arts survey, a fine arts survey, and the music program. Since I was concentrating on music, I wasn't able to gain any high-school level training in any of the other disciplines offered in the surveys, including drawing. (Also no sewing, which I would have resented at the time but which I would now like to be proficient at.)

I gotta admit, when I first saw the title of today's episode I was a bit trepidatious πŸ˜³πŸ™ˆ but it was a really good episode! It was really different, and in a good way. As an artist and a big fan of the show, I definitely appreciated it on multiple levels. Also, I wonder why that is, how we "art" when we're younger & then oftentimes fall away from it. Life, I guess. I mean, I went 20ish years before I picked up my pencil again and, oddly enough, it was to draw Rhett and Link on the set of GMM. πŸ˜‚ I swear, people are the hardest subject to draw, particularly faces, and especially men. Although, facial hair is a LOT more forgiving. Well, maybe.πŸ˜‰ Love y'all. Thanks a bunch! πŸ₯°

Love seeing little art re-awakenings in people who have forgotten how satisfying and fulfilling it is to create visual art! Beautiful! I very much encourage both Rhett and Link to just try sketching a little occasionally. Both do journaling, I know, and it's not hard to throw a little doodle in your journal occasionally, for fun.
