GMM has meant relaxation to me. I started watching about 4 years ago when I was at a low point in my life. It brought happiness but also distraction which is much needed. I went to the book tour which was such a blast, in Texas! I watch everyday and generally go to sleep to ear biscuits or GMM episodes. y'all have meant a lot to not just me but my family too, so thank you!

I, along with many many others, suffer from severe mental health issues. Ranging from PTSD to bipolar to Anxiety Disorder, along with some manias along the way, there has been countless extreme depressive (bordering suicidal) episodes. I've been watching GMM for several months now. Love it so much that I started from the beginning and along with watching daily shows, I'm up to season 12 from the beginning. I don't know what/how it is. But since I started watching, my work (I'm a nurse at a very busy nursing home caring for 34 residents alone with a QMA), was causing me so much anxiety I was taking xanax to simply go to work because my anxiety was so high.. then continue taking it throughout the day to keep the anxiety down. But... as I started saying... since I started watching you guys, something has changed with me fundamentally. I'm down to maybe taking 1/2 a xanax a week (if that), my depression is so well controlled that they dropped one of my anti depressants as well as my mood stabilizer. I honestly have made no other changes in my life with the exception of watching GMM. And to top that off, I have been getting nothing but praise from my management lately. I feel so ... accepted somehow. A little extra about me. I'm turning 50 in sept. And I have purple and teal hair (naturally blonde) and I change colored contacts frequently because.. I'm just weird I guess. What this all boils down to is, I don't know how.. or why, but I believe I owe you massive appreciation for bringing me out of such a cold, dark, isolated, anxiety ridden place. So Thank you both (and the whole team) from the bottom of my heart. Much love, Jen the RN <3 :)

I've been watching since 2012 when I was helping my great grandma she had Alzheimer's and problems walking and I'd be up all night watching gmm because she couldn't sleep. she passed away but ever since then I've been a die hard fan it's normally the best 15 minutes of my weekdays

GMM was special to me from the start. Rhett and Link seem like genuine good family guys who absolutely love doing what they do for a living and have created such an immersive and positive world for us to enjoy. The whole crew seems to have so much passion and dedication to this show/world. The show has vibes that reflect so much happiness. I can tell everyone in the crew enjoys their work environment and it's amazing to see that type of environment has created a close family dynamic. I love the content, humor and love that goes into every episode. This world is inspirational on so many levels, makes me proud to be a Mythical Beast.

aaaww man. Don't ask me to put it in words. GMM means EVERYTHING to me. It was a life changer, of that I am certain.

Over the years I've watched here and there because my husband watches. But with having a full time job, being a full time mom of 2
littles, and everything else that follows, having time to stop and take a breath most days has been hard.
Than 2020 hit!
Along with a global pandemic, my husband suffered a stroke and ended up having to have brain surgery. My life didn't slow but changed drastically. I was now working from home full time, teaching two kids--full time and being a full time caregiver to my husband.
To me GMM and More are the light to my heavy. For about 30 minutes of my day I can take that moment to breath and laugh and think these guys are wonderfully insane.
So thank you Mythical for 2000 (+) breaths.

Elizabeth (mythicallizzy) on July 18, 2021 at 11:50 am

also, 2000+ breaths is perfect 🤤

that's so sweet! I'm so sorry that your husband deals with that. :( hope he's getting better.

to when I need a good laugh and my now 1 year old actually sits through the episodes which surprises me because he isnt one to sit still haha. Keep up the amazing work Rhett, Link and crew! ♥️

In 2018, I was struggling with my mental health. Being constantly anxious and having many anxiety attacks, I was looking for a constant in my life. GMM became that constant! I could wake up every morning and watch GMM and Good Mythical More. I made it a part of my routine, and it was truly the bright spot of every day! It gave me consistency and a laugh! My mom would always say, "Are you watching those two funny friends again?" I still love GMM/More and watch every day! Thank goodness my then boyfriend, now husband, introduced me to Mythical in 2015! I am so appreciative of the smile Mythical Entertainment has provided me with every day since!

I found GMM at the start of the pandemic. They were my sanity during chaos. and continue to be. Thank you Rhett for Link for all the happiness you have brought me.

excited to hear what other people said!❤️

Max Andersen on July 15, 2021 at 12:14 am

To me, GMM meant getting everything in my life that was out of order back into order. Getting the courage and having the support of all the lovely people working at Mythical and everyone I've involved in getting to watch everything Rhett and Link, to begin and maintain my now daily routine. Making life Mythical one day at a time has meant the world to me and those around me. Thank all of you for every single thing you do. Keep it up and BYMB!

My mother fell a couple of years ago. Such as simple thing, but it led to a six-month nightmare culminating in her death. She had been my rock helping me through a diagnoses of major depression and anxiety that rendered me unable to work as well as breast cancer that threatened my life.
During the last month or so of her life I discovered GMM. It was funny and clean (at the time). It became important to me. It helped me laugh during a time when there was no joy in the world.

Brad Skelton on July 14, 2021 at 7:58 am

As a parent of two, it has allowed me to bond over something good and fun with my kids. We have spent countless hours watching and re-watching GMM and all the great materials you put together. The quality time spent with GMM and my kids is something I will value forever. Thank you for all you do at Mythical!

In a year like the one we just had, where so many bad things kept popping up, and I didn't know what I was going to wake up to. It felt like anything could happen, but in the worst way possible. In fact, the only thing I knew that I would wake up to, was GMM. Making me smile, and starting my day off positively. Which was really important to get through this crisis. So thank you, from the editors to the producers, the Rhett's to the link's, and even the cotton to the cotton candy Randy's. Thank you, and I can't wait to keep watching.

No matter what else has been going on in my day to day life, no matter how bone tired i feel from my job, no matter how stressful things feel trying to balance everything at home, i always know that each day I’m going to turn on YouTube and you guys are there, making me laugh and giving me those 20 minutes of escape that help me to re-center myself. It’s like having two awesome friends that i just haven’t met yet lol 💜

tamara Hanson on July 14, 2021 at 1:13 am

This show has brought me so much joy! I love laughing with the guys and the crew everyday. You make my mornings a little easier to get through!

GMM has meant so much to me in my life. It’s helped me through such hard times with anxiety and depression. They’re always there to give me a good laugh when I need it the most. I look forward to seeing Rhett and Link’s smiling faces everyday. They make me so happy. Seeing how much they do for their community too, with pride month, donating to all the places they donate to. It’s so heart warming to see how much they care about everyone. Thank you so much for all the things you’ve done for me and all the laughs.

I just wrote mine and watched some early episodes for inspiration. For anyone that is feeling pressured I have a little wisdom. Speak from the heart as soon as your heart speaks. If it speaks too late then send the email anyway as it will still be received. Unless the goal is to have the glory of the bragging rights of being read then the soonest possible is best. Most likely before next Monday to be super sure you make it. As in life there are zero guarantees and the early bird gets the breakfast. I hope this has helped and good luck,🍀👍

I second what Amanda Marie asked. I missed the deadline for the EB one so I wanna try for this one but need to know how long I have to think. lol
Also if possible, a general preferred length/maximum to increase odds of them getting to reading it (be it on or off camera)

Mythical Society on July 14, 2021 at 7:24 pm

Yes! I'll edit the post to add a deadline. We'd appreciate emails in by next Wednesday, July 21st! For on camera, no general preferred length or maximum word count, but even if you ultimately write a longer email, if there's a paragraph that can be read as standalone, that works great.

Wolf on July 20, 2021 at 12:48 am

Thanks for the reply.... I only just saw it so thank goodness I saw it in time. I just wrote it out and am about to send it now. I cried only a little while writing it.... lol

Amanda Marie Porter on July 13, 2021 at 7:22 pm

Hello dearest society leads, could we get a deadline please! Some of us like to think about what we send and deadlines help ensure we make it in time. Thank you for all your wonderful work! Much appreciated!
