Wow, an excellent episode. There is a lot to learn and mull over with this one. Friend Science couldn't have come at a better time for me; all the episodes have been so informational and useful!

This series by itself makes Mythical Society instantly worth it

Loving this series! I have always enjoyed watching Science Mike, his energy and the way he communicates information is an amazing addition throughout all Mythical formats. 🖤

I love this series, it's such a gentle way to help people understand themselves and how they relate to others. This one has definitely helped me understand my relationships with an ex or two. Looking forward to seeing more :)

I'm going to see my therapist face to face tomorrow, for the first time since the pandemic started, and I feel we are going to talk about this series quite a bit. Mike has the ability to explain things about human relationships I've never quite been able to wrap my head around, in a way I can finally understand. Thank you so much for this series!

This is a fantastic series! I love Mike! What a compassionate, empathetic, kind human he is. He is a lovely person. More kudos to Mythical for putting out another brilliant series! Thank you!

Is everyone else feeling personally 'seen' with those descriptions of enmeshment?
So that's why I come across as strange when I meet other divorced young mums or siblings of people with severe disabilities and straight away verbally dump my life on them and ask them to come stay with me 🤔
I guess I might have to work on that.

Best episode of the series. I can relate to some of the enmeshment concepts that Mike was talking about and it hit me pretty hard. Great series and I cant wait for the next episode!

I love Mike's sensitivity as well as admiring his knowledge. The compassion with which he discusses Rue's difficult life speaks both of a rare kindness and a great understanding of how to communicate that kindness.

This series is great! I've been looking forward to the new episode all day. It was everything I was hoping. :)

My gosh, I love these episodes! :D There's a lot to learn.

Another insightful and fascinating episode Mike. By far my favourite series.
I was able to instantly make connections to relationships I have had in the past and even ones I have now. I have taken so much from these episodes and am so grateful for Mike.

This new Friend Science series is really something special. Science Mike presents complex concepts in easy to understand ways, ways that give people words for concepts that they may not know or understand and make them understandable. This is an important new series that I hope continues to be made beyond friendship month. Maybe after a while you guys can share this series as a new Mythical channel so everyone can learn how to be a better friend. At the very least (if it's not all ready) make all episodes permanently available to initiates. I feel this show can really help people.

This episode really hit close to home. I'm a middle-aged man and I think in all my years, this is the clearest I've ever been on the difference between intimacy and enmeshment. This series has really been a boon to me and I feel like it may be one of the most powerful things ever presented by Mythical.

I love how Mike gets me thinking about my relationships with other people. I have to admit, on this front I think I still have some miles to walk. Maybe realising it is still a start.

This was a great episode! I always love when attachment theory comes into the mix as I find it so fascinating. Excited for the next ep and R&L's reaction on Thursday

also you got me super interested in watching Euphoria now 😂

I love this series and I love Science Mike!!

The part where Mike talked about the way people form attachments, and how those behaviours are determined early in life, suddenly made me understand a whole lot about myself and why I'm so affectionate with people I like, and understand even more about a handful of friends whose trauma makes them keep friends at arm's length, despite needing supportive people close.
The concept of enmeshment was also new to me, and partially describes the current struggles of a friend whose boundaries are all over the place right now, which is messing with the boundaries of everyone around them. Putting a name to it is gonna make it easier for me to figure out how to respond, so thank you. <3
I'd only ever heard of Euphoria peripherally. The clips here gave me Major Gay Vibes, and so I googled the show... and, lo and behold... Rue and Jules are eventually lovers. (I'm also nonbinary, and will happily say I exist under the trans umbrella. Somehow this show escaped my radar?? Perhaps, when I'm in the mood to have my heart broken, I'll seek this show out.)
Thank you again, Mike. I'm so delighted by this entire series.
