Now I wish I found you 2 earlier than I did.

I love seeing the thought processes behind these videos, and the efforts to make them were impressive. Do you guys miss doing this stuff?

Christine Milner on January 4, 2022 at 6:13 pm

I know we don't see everything that goes into everything they make now, and of course there's always difficult/frustrating parts of creating videos, but I get the general feeling that they're both so much more relaxed now. Even watching regular GMMs from years ago (that I still love!) I can sometimes tell that Rhett and Link are tense or frustrated. The behind the scenes showed some real tension from both.

It seems, from what I can see, that such high levels of frustration don't happen as frequently. Through experience, wisdom, and therapy, they both just seem so much more chill. It honestly makes me happy to see that growth because I know they must feel much happier and healthier. 😊

caption fails were my favorite back in the day! Watched them all the time and ended up getting the cc lyrics stuck in my head haha

Heather G. Kreager on December 26, 2021 at 11:05 pm

I wish I could download it so I could watch this when I do not have internet or phone signal. Please keep up the good work. Can't wait to see what you do next year.

the behind the scenes kinda made me sad lol but i love that we can see the genuine dedication that y'all have to making your wonderful ideas work!

I'm gonna start referring to my carpal tunnel syndrome as "charisma wrist". Hahaha. Wow, this was great! I've seen pretty much all of your content but I forget what I've seen and it's always great to be reminded, and especially to get to watch it through your eyes, so to speak. I appreciate the massive mental endeavor the original project clearly demanded. That was nuts! I Swanee! Gosh darn, dadgummit, fiddlesticks! πŸ˜‚

is there no way to cast this to a chromecast?

Mythical Society on December 27, 2021 at 11:48 am

Hello! We're still working on casting upgrades so Chrome casting is unfortunately not yet possible. In the meantime, to cast you'll have to use the method Everett suggested :) Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with!

Everett M. on December 26, 2021 at 3:37 am

The only way to cast this to Chromecast (at least for now) is going to the website on a desktop/laptop and then you can cast it from there.
But there is currently no way to cast from a mobile device.

(And if you do use the desktop method, I find it works better if you cast the entire tab and not just the video)

Can you guys develop a Mytical Society TV app? Probably expensive yes...but would be easier to watch these

Mythical Society on December 30, 2021 at 11:51 am

Hello! We're working on casting upgrades for the app to be able to watch on your TV :) I'll pass along your feedback for a TV app itself to our team!

I love these reacts! I just want to say having a Mythical Society membership has been a shining light and a great distraction while I am in quarentine alone over Christmas. Thanks, Rhett & Link!

I'm so happy you shared the behind-the-scenes with us. As someone with limited resources trying to create content on YouTube, I feel better seeing people I respect and admire struggling to make it suitable for their audience. It makes me feel better about where I am currently and hopeful of my future.

Linda Kinney on December 24, 2021 at 12:32 pm

Merry Christmas πŸŽ…πŸŒ². That was one of the first videos I watched . Got me hooked on GMM,GMMORE. Been a fan for over 2 years.
