Since this episode aired I've been chugging lots of coconut kefir. (I prefer the vanilla kind.) So good! The coconut really complements the sweet vanilla flavour, and IMO is even better than dairy milk.

I primarily drink almond milk for the B12 - for cereals. Used to use it in smoothies until I switched to yogurt and water. Have gotten sick from B12 deficiencies. Also, take a supplement.

Use cow milk for cooking.

I once bought oat milk with the intention to use it. Never got around to it and it expired. Really should try again.

Soy milk seems gross to me. I should try it at some point. I already produce too much estrogen though so probably wouldn't want it all the time.

the only time i tend to drink milk is in coffee, i find soy and cashew the best in it, occasionally oat milk (if its the barista blend), but almond, coconut and rice are all 🀒🀒 my 4 year old likes oat and almond to drink straight :P

we're an almond milk household....I just added oatmilk and soy milk to our grocery order so I can give them a mini taste test!! Haven't tried oatmilk but definitely interested now

I just don't drink milk alone. I only use milk on cereal or in cooking. And then I only use milk from πŸ„ s. And for creamer I use a flavored creamer. Got nothing against the other milks. Just how I roll.☺

I have been drinking milk alternatives a good portion of my life because of allergies, and I have to say that I've probably tried everything out there. While it doesn't seemed to be shared with many people, my absolute favorite for everyday drinking, in cereal, etc, is definitely rice milk. I always drank 1% when I was younger so the thinner consistency is perfect for me. I can't stand the thicker and creamier options. I do however prefer soy for coffee creamer as it blends better without separating but if I hit a coffee shop for some espresso I now go with oat milk.

idk I just like regular milk tbh I couldn't think of any alternative for myself but if I had to choose I would choose almond milk

Oat milk is my go to milk. The texture is great and it tastes like oats. πŸ˜… I've never been much of a cow milk drinker so I'm glad that found something that I like. It's really good in overnight oats!

For the record - the soy milk estrogen thing is WAY exaggerated. You'd have to be chugging gallons of the stuff every day. And if you chugged gallons of cow's milk every day, I am sure the hormones they give the cows would be just as detrimental to you haha. At one point, weren't people worried that cows milk gave girls early puberty?

I know this is a comedy show, but I would really appreciate if they commented on this in a later video, after doing a little research... Small comments like this can stick in people's minds and then they repeat it as fact, and that's sort of how false news is spread

I have found I love coconut milk. I get the dragon drink at Starbucks because of the coconut milk they add it's so yummy!

I used to swear by cashew milk until I found oat milk! I like soy creamer in my coffee and oat milk in everything else. Even the unsweetened varieties are pretty dang good.

Also, as for the estrogens, phytoestrogens aren't nearly as effective on humans as the mammalian estrogens already present in dairy products. I mean, plant estrogens CAN affect you, but only if you consume copious amounts of soy. Conversely, I've seen many a testimony of ppl healing various ailments when they gave up dairy & animal products bc eliminating all that mammalian estrogen is incredibly beneficial. Bonus fact: there's actually a lot of science supporting that moderate consumption of soy actually helps prevent breast cancer. So, there's that, too. πŸ™ƒ

When I got the notification for the YouTube video this morning, I was like okay they gotta pick out milk or nothing. But actually, when oat milk isn't available, I go with soy. So I agree with their choices 100%!!

they have very strong opinions on milk. the descriptions were extremely vivid when they didn't like the milk, such as "dirty drain water" or "a building material like caulk". As always thank you for the bonus round.
